We’re excited to have you join us in exploring the hands-on world of construction and woodworking! Whether you’re building a birdhouse, or learning the ins and outs of power tools, this class is all about turning ideas into reality. In this course, you’ll gain practical skills in woodworking, learn the fundamentals of construction, and discover the teamwork and creativity that goes into every project. As a part of our Construction Club and Construction Competition Team, you’ll have the opportunity to get even more involved with real-world building projects and challenges, working alongside your peers.

In this hands-on, skills-based course, students will explore the fundamentals of construction, from the basics of building design to the tools and techniques used in the industry. Through practical projects and real-world applications, students will learn essential skills like blueprint reading, measuring, framing, electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry and safety protocols. This class emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and craftsmanship, providing students with a strong foundation for pursuing careers in construction, carpentry, or other trades.
